Me: Yea, but who drove across the high plains of Kansas and Nebraska eight times in winter? Fr. Mike: Yeah, but who got to go five times to Hawaii . . . Me: Cause you know, in the "I've suffered more than you" wars, five - all expenses paid - trips to Hawaii leaves you pretty much unarmed . . . Addendum: It has just occurred to me. I could battle on . . . Me: Who got dysentery in Jakarta? FM: Who spent a month in a hospital in South Africa and nearly died? Me: Yeah, but you were dying on your own time. . . I was dying on Institute time. |
