Making Disciples will help you:

•Understand how intentional discipleship is the normative source of spiritual life and the foundation of all pastoral ministry.

•Understand why discipleship must precede catechesis and how life-changing catechesis builds on discipleship.

• Learn how to listen for and recognize pre-discipleship stages of spiritual growth.

•Learn how to facilitate the spiritual growth of those, baptized or not, who are not yet disciples.

• Discover ways of articulation the basic kerygma that awakens initial faith in a gentle and non-threatening way.

• Understand how different charisms (spiritual gifts) can be used in evangelization.

• Explore how to use these skills in your own ministry, as well as how to share these skills with other disciples.

• Prayerfully reflect on your own journey of discipleship.
