Passionate about helping others discover Christ within the beauty of the lay vocation, Janet sees the importance of charism discernment as an important key in helping people recognize and live God’s personal call.
Janet earned a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Studies (MAPS) summa cum laude from Holy Apostles College and Seminary as well as a certificate in Spiritual Direction from Divine Mercy University. She works for a Catholic non-profit, is a spiritual director, writer, and speaker, and advocates for the importance of family dinners.
Janet and her husband make their home on a mountain in rural Eastern Oregon, where she enjoys spending time picking and canning fruits and vegetables, and she is grateful for the technology that allows her to FaceTime her adult children and her grandchildren who are scattered across the US.
